Season vs Lifetime R6 Stats: What Each Number Tells You
Season vs lifetime R6 stats answer two different questions. Your season stats show how you are playing right now, in the current ranked season only. Your lifetime stats add up every match the account has ever played, in every mode, and change very slowly.
Both are useful, but they are easy to mix up. A player can have a 1.44 lifetime K/D and a 1.46 K/D this season, or a 67% lifetime win rate and a 70% win rate this season, and both numbers are correct. This guide explains where each number comes from on SiegeRadar, then uses one real profile, Beaulo on PC, to show how far apart they can sit.
Season stats vs lifetime stats in R6
Here is the short version of what each set of numbers covers.
Season stats (the Ranked card at the top of a profile, and each row on the Seasons tab):
- Cover one ranked season only, for example Y11S3 (Split Fire).
- Include the rank, the current rank points (RP) and the peak RP for that season.
- Reset in practice when a new season starts, because the new season begins with zero matches.
- Move quickly. A good or bad week changes them a lot early in the season.
Lifetime stats (the All-time stats section, and the By game mode table):
- Add up everything the account has done, as Ubisoft reports it.
- All-time stats mix every mode together: ranked, Quick Match, Arcade, events and more.
- Have no rank, because rank only exists per season.
- Barely move. One more match out of thousands hardly changes the totals.
If you want to know "am I better than I used to be?", compare this season with your past seasons. If you want to know "what kind of player has this account been overall?", look at lifetime.
Example: Beaulo's season vs lifetime stats
To show the difference with real data, we loaded Beaulo's PC profile through SiegeRadar on 30 October 2026. These are the numbers the site showed at that time. They will have moved since; open Beaulo's live profile or his pro page for the current figures.
| Stat | Y11S3 ranked | Lifetime, all modes | Lifetime, ranked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Matches | 197 | 14,688 | 13,795 |
| Wins | 138 | 9,819 | 9,231 |
| Win rate | 70.4% | 66.9% | 66.9% |
| Kills | 1,101 | 93,546 | 81,774 |
| Deaths | 752 | 64,787 | 59,067 |
| K/D | 1.46 | 1.44 | 1.38 |
| Rank | Champion 1, 5,435 RP | – | – |
| Peak this season | 5,512 RP | – | – |
A few things stand out.
This season is a tiny slice of the total. 197 ranked matches this season against 14,688 matches overall is about 1.3% of the account's history. That is why the lifetime numbers hardly react to a single season, good or bad.
The season win rate is higher than the lifetime one. 70.4% this season against 66.9% overall. For a player at Champion 1, that fits a strong season so far, but with 197 matches a short losing run could still pull it down by a few points.
The two lifetime K/Ds are not the same. The all-modes figure (1.44) is higher than the ranked-only figure (1.38). The All-time number also includes modes such as Arcade and Quick Match, where Beaulo's K/D is above 2 on his profile. Those easier kills lift the combined number. If you care about ranked performance, the ranked row of the By game mode table is the fairer lifetime comparison.
Lifetime has no rank. Rank and RP only exist inside a season. There is no "lifetime rank"; the closest thing is the Season peaks box on the Seasons tab, which shows the highest peak RP the account reached in any RP season (and the best MMR for older seasons).
The profile also lists 45 Legend Division matches this season as a separate mode. We have left them out of the table above, because the data does not tell us whether they overlap with the ranked count. Our R6 ranks guide covers what is and is not known about the Legend Division.
Why the same season can show two win rates
You might spot that Beaulo's Seasons tab shows 70.1% for Y11S3, while the Ranked card shows 70.4%. Both come from the same season. The difference is the formula:
- The Ranked card for the current season uses wins ÷ (wins + losses) from the ranked board: 138 ÷ (138 + 58) = 70.4%.
- The Seasons tab, past seasons and lifetime totals use wins ÷ matches played: 138 ÷ 197 = 70.1%.
The gap is the one match that ended with no win or loss, such as an abandon. Our how our stats work page lists every formula the site uses. We use matches played for the totals because the loss counts from the data source can be incomplete. You can see this in Beaulo's lifetime ranked row: 9,231 wins and 13,795 matches, but only 1,675 losses are reported, which does not add up. That is why we leave lifetime ranked losses out of the table.
How much season stats move from season to season
Lifetime stats look steady, but the seasons underneath them do not. Here are Beaulo's last seven ranked seasons from his Seasons tab, as stored on 30 October 2026. Win rate here is wins ÷ matches played.
| Season | Matches | Win rate | K/D | End RP | Peak RP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Y11S3 Split Fire (current) | 197 | 70.1% | 1.46 | 5,435 | 5,512 |
| Y11S2 System Override | 325 | 61.5% | 1.46 | 5,088 | 5,160 |
| Y11S1 Silent Hunt | 582 | 73.0% | 1.58 | 4,746 | 4,896 |
| Y10S4 Tenfold Pursuit | 439 | 63.8% | 1.52 | 4,550 | 4,756 |
| Y10S3 High Stakes | 292 | 58.6% | 1.52 | 4,386 | 4,678 |
| Y10S2 Daybreak | 351 | 75.8% | 1.57 | 4,718 | 4,919 |
| Y10S1 Prep Phase | 455 | 63.7% | 1.53 | 4,532 | 4,891 |
For the current season, "End RP" is the RP at the time we loaded the profile, not a final value.
Over these seven seasons, his win rate ranged from 58.6% to 75.8%, a spread of more than 17 points. His lifetime win rate of 66.9% sits in the middle and hides all of that. K/D was steadier, between 1.46 and 1.58, but every one of those seasons is above his lifetime ranked K/D of 1.38. One possible reason, and this is our reading rather than something the data proves, is that the lifetime total still carries older seasons from much earlier in the account's history.
Two more points worth knowing when you compare seasons:
- Rank points are not comparable across ranked systems. Y11S1 and earlier used Ranked 2.0, with a single Champion rank from 4,500 RP. Y11S2 started Ranked 3.0, which split Champion into five divisions. Seasons before Y7S4 used MMR instead of RP, so the Seasons tab shows MMR for those. Our ranks page has the RP ranges for each system.
- Small seasons swing more. A season with 100 matches can show a much higher or lower win rate than one with 500, just from a few good or bad nights. Look at the match count before you read too much into a percentage.
When to use season stats and when to use lifetime stats
Use season stats when you want to:
- Check your current rank, RP and how close you are to the next division.
- See whether a change you made (new operators, a new role, a new team) is working.
- Compare yourself with players around you on the leaderboard, which is based on the current season.
Use lifetime stats when you want to:
- Get a feel for how experienced an account is. Matches played and hours played are the clearest signs.
- See a long-run K/D or win rate that one lucky week cannot inflate.
- Compare how you do in different modes, using the By game mode table.
Be careful with one thing: lifetime totals come from the data source and cover the one account you looked up. If a player has played on another platform or another account, those matches are not in the totals. Also, play time and match counts are tracked separately and do not always line up, so we do not divide one by the other.
How to check your own season vs lifetime stats
- Search your name on SiegeRadar and pick your platform. On console, use your gamertag or PSN ID exactly as it appears.
- The Ranked card at the top of your profile shows this season: rank, RP, peak, K/D, win rate, wins and losses.
- Scroll down to All-time stats for lifetime totals, and By game mode to see ranked on its own.
- Open the Seasons tab to see every past season side by side, with the Season peaks box for your best RP and best K/D season.
Profiles refresh after 15 minutes, so a match you just finished may take a little while to show up. If your numbers look stuck, see R6 tracker not updating. To work out what your K/D would be after a few more kills or deaths, try the K/D calculator.
FAQ
What is the difference between season and lifetime stats in R6?
Season stats cover one ranked season only and include your rank and RP. Lifetime stats add up every match the account has played, in every mode, and have no rank.
Do R6 stats reset every season?
Your season stats start from zero each ranked season, and you earn a rank for that season. Your lifetime totals do not reset; they keep adding up across seasons.
Why is my season K/D different from my lifetime K/D?
They count different matches. Season K/D covers only this season’s ranked matches, while the All-time K/D includes every mode and every past season, so it changes far more slowly.
Why does my lifetime K/D look higher than my ranked K/D?
The All-time figure includes modes such as Arcade and Quick Match, where K/D is often higher. Use the ranked row of the By game mode table for a ranked-only lifetime number.
Is there a lifetime rank in Rainbow Six Siege?
No. Rank only exists inside a ranked season. SiegeRadar shows your best peak RP and best K/D season in the Season peaks box on your profile instead.
