R6 Rank Distribution: Where the Top 100 Players Sit
R6 rank distribution is the question of how ranked players spread across the ranks, from Copper up to Champion. This guide shows what we can measure for real: how rank points (RP) are spread across the top 100 ranked players on PC and console, taken from the live leaderboard on 19 October 2026.
One thing up front, because it matters for every number below: this is the top 100, not the whole player base. The leaderboard data SiegeRadar uses lists the 100 highest-ranked players per platform. It does not include counts for Gold, Platinum or any other rank, so we cannot tell you what share of all players is in each rank. We explain that in more detail further down.
The ranks and their RP ranges
Before looking at the spread, here is where each rank starts in Ranked 3.0, the system used since Y11S2. Every tier from Copper to Champion has five divisions, and every division is 100 RP wide.
| Tier | Lowest division | Highest division |
|---|---|---|
| Copper | Copper 5: 1,000 RP | Copper 1: 1,400 RP |
| Bronze | Bronze 5: 1,500 RP | Bronze 1: 1,900 RP |
| Silver | Silver 5: 2,000 RP | Silver 1: 2,400 RP |
| Gold | Gold 5: 2,500 RP | Gold 1: 2,900 RP |
| Platinum | Platinum 5: 3,000 RP | Platinum 1: 3,400 RP |
| Emerald | Emerald 5: 3,500 RP | Emerald 1: 3,900 RP |
| Diamond | Diamond 5: 4,000 RP | Diamond 1: 4,400 RP |
| Champion | Champion 5: 4,500 RP | Champion 1: 4,900 RP and up |
Champion 1 has no upper limit, so a player at 4,950 RP and a player at 8,000 RP both show as Champion 1 on SiegeRadar. That detail explains most of what you see in the top 100. The full list of all 40 divisions is on the R6 ranks page, and the ranks explained guide covers how the system changed over the years.
Rainbow Six Siege rank distribution in the top 100
These figures come from the PC leaderboard and the console leaderboard as of 19 October 2026. The site refreshes the leaderboard every 3 hours, so the live pages will have moved on by the time you read this.
| As of 19 Oct 2026 | PC | Console |
|---|---|---|
| Players listed | 100 | 76 |
| Rank of every player | Champion 1 | Champion 1 |
| #1 | 8,545 RP | 6,678 RP |
| #2 | 7,319 RP | 6,431 RP |
| #10 | 6,458 RP | 5,693 RP |
| #25 | 6,086 RP | 5,562 RP |
| #50 | 5,837 RP | 5,379 RP |
| Last place on the list | 5,557 RP | 5,309 RP |
| Median | 5,835 RP | 5,436 RP |
Every single player in both lists is Champion 1. On PC, even last place on the list is 657 RP above the Champion 1 starting point of 4,900. On console, last place is 409 RP above it.
How RP is spread on PC
Grouping the 100 PC players into 500 RP bands shows how bunched up the ladder is:
| RP band | Players |
|---|---|
| 5,500–5,999 | 70 |
| 6,000–6,499 | 21 |
| 6,500–6,999 | 4 |
| 7,000–7,499 | 4 |
| 7,500–7,999 | 0 |
| 8,000 and up | 1 |
Seventy of the top 100 sit inside a 500 RP window. Only 30 players have 6,000 RP or more, 9 have 6,500 or more, and 5 have 7,000 or more. The player in first place is 1,226 RP ahead of second place. For comparison, second place and 100th place are 1,762 RP apart.
How RP is spread on console
| RP band | Players |
|---|---|
| 5,000–5,499 | 45 |
| 5,500–5,999 | 26 |
| 6,000–6,499 | 4 |
| 6,500 and up | 1 |
The console list is lower and even tighter. Most players are between 5,309 and 5,499 RP, only 5 have 6,000 RP or more, and nobody is at 7,000. The gap between first and second place is 247 RP.
What the numbers tell you
A few things stand out from this snapshot:
- The top 100 is all one rank. Because Champion 1 is open-ended, the rank badge stops telling players apart at this level. RP is the only useful number in the top 100.
- The cut-off is well past Champion 1. Reaching Champion 1 (4,900 RP) is not enough to appear on the leaderboard. On this date you needed about 5,560 RP on PC and about 5,310 RP on console.
- The ladder is crowded near the bottom of the list. On PC, positions 50 and 100 are only 280 RP apart. A good or bad week of ranked can move a player many places.
- The very top is spread out. On PC, a handful of players sit far above everyone else, and first place is in a band of its own.
- PC sits higher than console. The PC median is about 400 RP above the console median. Console and PC are separate ranked pools, so the two lists are not a direct skill comparison. It only means the RP numbers at the top of each pool are different.
For context on other stats in the same lists: the median K/D was 1.43 on PC and 1.34 on console, and 99 of the 100 PC players had a K/D of 1.0 or higher. You can check any K/D against your own with the K/D calculator.
R6 rank percentages: what percent is Champion?
This is the question most people searching for R6 rank distribution want answered, and we want to be straight with you: we cannot give an accurate percentage for Champion or any other rank.
To work out the share of players in each rank, you need the rank of every ranked player, or at least a large, fair sample. The leaderboard data SiegeRadar receives covers the top 100 per platform only. The profiles people look up on our site are not a fair sample either, because people tend to search for strong players, streamers and friends. A percentage built from that would look precise and be wrong, so we do not publish one.
What we can say for certain is this:
- The 100 best players on each platform are all Champion 1, with hundreds of RP to spare.
- Champion starts at 4,500 RP, which is 3,500 RP above Copper 5.
- Y11S3 (Split Fire) added a Legend Division above Champion. We do not publish an RP threshold for it. SiegeRadar works out each rank from RP using the Ranked 3.0 table, which ends at Champion 1, so these players show as Champion 1 here.
If you see a rank percentage chart elsewhere, check where its numbers come from and whether it covers all players or only those who used one tracker.
Why the console list has 76 players, not 100
Xbox and PlayStation share one ranked pool, so the data source returns a single console top 100. Some players appear in it more than once, under each name linked to their account, such as a gamertag and a PSN ID. Those entries have identical RP, K/D and match counts. SiegeRadar merges them into one row so each player is counted once. On 19 October 2026 that left 76 unique players. The Xbox and PlayStation tabs split this list by console for the players we have identified so far.
How to see where you sit
The leaderboard only shows the very top, but you can still place yourself on the ladder:
- Search your name on the SiegeRadar home page to see your current rank, RP and peak rank this season.
- Compare your RP to the table above. If you are in Champion 1, the gap to the last leaderboard spot on your platform tells you how far you are from the top 100.
- Use the R6 ranks page to see how many RP you need for the next division.
- Check the seasons page if you want to compare this season with earlier ones.
If your profile looks out of date after a session, the guide on why an R6 tracker is not updating explains the caching delays.
